USF Basketball Looks Ahead to Post Season

The University of Sioux Falls Men and Women’s basketball teams are approaching their NSIC Post Season Tournament.

Redshirt sophomore, Amber Paden, says the women’s team is working for a first round home game for the women while redshirt freshman Cutler Finneman says his team has to continue being themselves and whatever happens, happens.

Paden says her team is working on finding a balance defensively and offensively.

“When we get it going offensively I feel like we could be any team we wanted to,” she says.

Finneman says the key for the men’s team is “being focused, coming ready to play and being engaged.” Their motto being “both feet in.”

Update: The Women won their first round game and will move on to play Saturday night at the Pentagon at 6pm. The Men’s team fell 86-75 to St. Cloud State.
