From Fayetteville, Arkansas to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Slim Chickens has offered it’s southern style chicken for over a decade.
Beginning in founders’ Greg Smart and Tom Garden’s garage, Slim Chickens has now grown to over 60 locations in the Midwest.
The Sioux Falls location opened in mid-July on South Minnesota Avenue, just four blocks East of the USF campus. Slim Chicken’s menu consists of south style chicken, including wings, strips, and sandwiches. What has made Slim Chickens famous is their variety of dipping sauces available, including Cayenne Ranch, Spicy BBQ, Inferno, and their very own Slim Sauce.
The restaurant offers a variety of discounts for USF students and staff. Every tickets stub to a USF Cougar home football game includes a $1.00 off coupon for any meal. USF students and staff will also receive a discount every Tuesday with their USF ID. Slim Chickens is open seven days a week from 10:30 am to 10:00 pm.
