Benedetto Hall is on the Rise
Bendetto Hall is still under construction but it has the potential to be one of the nicest resident living halls in the state.
Despite work still being performed, Vice President of Student Development and Dean of Students Corey Ross says that construction is moving along quite well. “We have made a lot of progress on the residence hall. The wall went up in giant chunks; even the floor and ceiling went up in big chunks,” says Ross.
The windows are also in but Ross says that the end window is something to marvel at.
“We even have a benefactor window; it’s like there’s a tree etched into the glass and then the names of all the Board of Trustee members that served under Dr. Benedetto as President are listed on there.”
Ross adds that furniture was recently added to the residence hall rooms.
Benedetto Hall will be a convenient living space for many reasons. The first floor lounge will host a fitness room, the second floor lounge will have a television recreation area, and the third floor will have a laundry space.
Benedetto Hall has some work yet to be done, but it will be hosting students at the start of the fall semester in August.
