Students Enjoy J-Term Travel Opportunities
Story by Dakota Case
Interim break is a time fort students to take the edge off between the hectic fall and spring semester. Whether they’re spending time at home, taking a class, or working, everyone has their preferences on how they like to spend their time over J-term.
Sophomore, McCartney Labor, has her own preference. She along with other USF students spent a portion of their J-term exploring the beautiful countries of Europe.
“We started out in France and spent about five days there and then another five days in Spain.”
Labor wasn’t before familiar with the European culture, but adjusted well.
“It was really interesting experiencing the new cultures and being immersed in that.
Labor also achieved a life long goal while in Europe.
“Going to Paris has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl.”
When asked if she recommended other students to take advantage of an interim trip, McCartney did not hesitate to agree.
“Absolutely! This is the time to be doing things like this and if you go through the school it’s going to be a lot more organized. You’re young and should definitely take advantage of this chance.”
